    Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles announces car sale of Honda Crosstour by the public tender - second term.

    1. Specifications of the vehicle:

    2. Asking price: 7 500.00 USD

    3. In order to participate in the tender one has to pay a security deposit in the amount of 5% of the asking price - $375.00. The deposit must be paid in cash at the Consulate General or by a direct transfer to the bank account:

    4. The car can be viewed at the Polish Consulate General in Los Angeles (12400 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90025) weekdays, from 10 October – 23 October 2017, by prior appointment. For appointment please call 1 310 442 8500 ex. 809 or write to:

    5. Offer should be made in writing (see the attached form - Appendix 1) and should include:

    • full name or company name, address with phone number,
    • offered price (expressed in figures and words) and the conditions of its repayment,
    • statement of the tenderer that he/she is familiar with the state of the subject of the tender and he/she is happy to proceed with the transaction without inspecting the vehicle and aware of the consequences when failing to meet the required criteria,
    • a copy of the deposit payment.

     6. Written offers (according to the attached form - Appendix 1) with a copy of proof of payment should be made at the Polish Consulate General in Los Angeles (12400 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 555, Los Angeles, CA 90025) in sealed envelopes marked "Tender Honda Crosstour - do not open" by the day 23 October until 4 pm.


     7. The offers will be opened at the meeting of the Tender Committee at the Polish Consulate General in Los Angeles on 23 October 2017 at  4:30 pm.

     8. The Committee will select the highest offer.

     9. The deposit paid by the tenderers whose offers were not selected or were rejected will be returned within 7 days from the date of the selection or rejection of the offer. The deposit submitted by the purchaser will be credited towards the purchase price.

    10. Deposit is not refundable if the successful tenderer fails to conclude the contract of the sale. 

    11. The offer will be rejected, if: 

    • it is submitted after the deadline,
    • it is submitted at the wrong place,
    • a tenderer did not make the deposit,
    • a tender failed to disclose the required information in the provided form.


    12. If there are several offers at the same price, the tender will continue until the highest offer is agreed on.

     13. The buyer will be informed about the date and place of conclusion of the contract within 10 days from the day of tender opening.

     14. The buyer is obliged to pay the purchase price no later than the date of the agreement.

     15. Release of the vehicle will occur immediately after the payment has been received and  the contract has been signed.


    16. All costs, taxes and fees associated with the purchase of the subject of the tender shall be borne by the purchaser. The winner is responsible for paying any additional fees and taxes required by the United States authorities, Polish or any other country to which the vehicle will go after the sale.

     17. Polish Consulate General in Los Angeles reserves the right to close the tender at any time, without settlement, without having to justify its decision.

     18. Polish Consulate General in Los Angeles is not responsible for hidden defects of the vehicle.
